SPRING 2024 Hours

New for Spring 2024! Science writing help in the Berry Center (Room 227). Click on the respective schedule when logging in to the scheduling platform to access available appointments.

Coe Library Writing Center Hours

Monday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Tuesday 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Wednesday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Thursday 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

(Applicable to MOST weeks - Check the online schedule! The Writing Center is closed for UW holidays.)

To meet face-to-face, select 'SPRING 2024'. Click on an available appointment time (white space). Select "Schedule Face-to-Face appointment." Meet your consultant at the Writing Center (Coe Library Level 1).

To schedule a video conference, select 'SPRING 2024'. Click on an available appointment time (white space) and select “Schedule Video Conferencing Appointment." At the time of your appointment, click on your appointment and select "Start or Join Online Consultation." This will load the video platform. Your consultant may email you a Zoom link ahead of time if they prefer to meet with you that way (or, if you express a preference for Zoom).

To schedule a review and return (asynchronous) appointment, select 'SPRING 2024'. Click on an available appointment time (white space) and select “Review and Return." Be sure to attach your assignment sheet in addition to your draft, which we will review and send back to you. This is a good option if you do not want to meet with a consultant. We DO NOT recommend this service for first-time users of the Writing Center.

Cancelling appointments: Please cancel your appointment by selecting your existing appointment, then selecting "Cancel Appointment." You can also email your consultant to cancel. Missing more than three appointments without cancellation will revoke your ability to schedule appointments for the remainder of the semester.
